MMD CONCLUDED FIVE DAYS TOT TRAINING ON HUMAN RIGHT UNISO UNIVERSITY
From 25- 29 January, MMD team facilitated 5 days T0T training. 16 participants representing the University of Somali (UNISO) have attended. The topic was very much concerned about Universal declaration of Human right so as to understand the students their rights as well as the right of others. This learning process bring to eliminate all type of violation occur inside the universities and communities.
Thus, such of this training creates good atmosphere that allow student to existence and stay together without violence as well as knowing their rights.
OBJECTIVE OF TRAINING
- To enhance the capacity of students on human right declaration so as to improve their knowledge as well s to provide other student that wasn’t get such of this chance
- To exchange ideas and experiences of human right issues
- To inspiring and empowering other students and to create human rights trainers within the universities and the broader community and equipping them with the knowledge and tools to advocate for human rights
Expectation
The participant’s share their expectations in brainstorming method as summarized:
1. To increase their knowledge
2. To develop interactions among themselves
3. To be trainers of the community toward Universal of human right declaration
4. To expand the project to other regions and Districts of the country
5. To become Human right promoters and advocators
6. To gain knowledge about human right declaration
