Children living on the street to receive special focus.
They dropped out of school to start working on the streets of Maka Almukara Road, In Somalia Mogadishu, To help With their mother and younger sister to support, they clean the cars and shoes.
On a good day they would make 10,000 Shilin Somali, = 0.5 us dollar but usually it was only 5,000 Shlliln Somali per day.
However, through the assistance of Street to School, a programme of Maternal Mercy & Development (MMD) now, they able to attend a vocational training scheme, while taking informal lessons at a shelter to improve their literacy.

The human rights situation of children like those children has been the focus of a partnership between the Somali Diaspora, the insurance, and the Consortium for Street Children, the aim of this raising awareness at an international level of the situation of children living and working on the street.
