Maternal mercy Development (MMD) is one of the NGOs involved on assisting the vulnerable groups, especially Women and Children in a bad condition weather they are in the camps or other places.
Since MMD started working in 2009, the number and rate of women dying from complications of pregnancy or childbirth has been halved, Families are smaller and healthier.
Young people are more connected and empowered than ever before.
Eventually MMD will play it role of assisting these groups weather to advocate to Donors or direct assisting with a helping other partners as same business groups in Mogadishu and Diaspora that supported us or encouraged to continuo assisting the vulnerable people.
We are very experienced field based organization in terms of maternity
and care for women. We are among them, we know their vulnerability and
violations they experience more than anybody else.
This work is our heart and we feel blessed when,we volunteer to assist one suffering women.
