Location and personnel
The organization works in all regions of central Somalia and specially has big office in Benadir region. The other areas the organization works as particularly are Gedo, Lower/Middle Shabelle Bay/Bakool and Middle Jubba regions. MMD have 20 Permanent staff and 6 casuals and volunteers and the number varies from time to time depending on projects.
The organization has a team of experienced and professionally qualified personnel to undertake and successfully implement all the activities within its thematic areas. A well thought out recruitment structure is in place to ensure that the best personnel are hire for quality service delivery.
The Organization is engaged in a number of thematic areas including:
- Humanitarian responses through distribution of emergency relief
- Education (working with IDPs)
- Health ( Primary and Secondary health care)
- Nutrition( Specially OTP, SFP and SC)
- Community development projects
